Snow in Northern Montenegro

Snow is falling in most towns in northern Montenegro, with temperatures in some municipalities dropping below zero.

According to the website of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology, the snow cover on Žabljak is 2 centimeters thick, while in Rožaje, it is 1 centimeter.

The Institute's data indicates that snow is currently falling in Nikšić, Kolašin, Pljevlja, and Berane.

Temperatures have significantly dropped, with Žabljak being the coldest, where at 11 a.m., the temperature was measured at minus 4.5°C.

In Kolašin, the temperature is half a degree below zero.

The Institute has announced that today will be moderately cloudy, with intermittent rain, while the northern region will experience sleet and snow.
