Spajić: Serious warning, Tender Commission to carefully consider IFC expert opinions

The World Bank - IFC's address is a serious warning that questioning the regularity of the Tender procedure for the concession of the Airport of Montenegro could harm Montenegro's reputation, its European path and the closure of Chapter 5 - Public Procurement for which we have met all the conditions, announced Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.

"I call on the Tender Commission to carefully consider the expert opinions of the World Bank - IFC, in order to bring this important procedure to an end, in the best interest of the citizens and Montenegro," Spajić stated in a post on the X network.

The World Bank - International Finance Corporation (IFC), which the Government hired as a consultant in the process of awarding the concession for the airports in Podgorica and Tivat, informed the Government that it will have no choice but to abandon this procedure, unless it receives clarification from the Tender Commission for the evaluation of the technical bids and the disqualification of one of the two bidders.
