Even the biggest pessimists could not expect that Milojko Spajić's government would be characterized exclusively by Montenegro's indebtedness and a debt-based, rather than a development-based economy, said Mirko Stanić, representative of the European aliance and president of the SDP Main Board.
-Who remembers several billion from Japan, who remembers hundreds of millions from France, who remembers the development of Pljevlja, money from Lake Bileća? Has anyone started moving to Velje Brdo, how is the anodized hardware from the Steelworks being sold? None of this exists except in the PR strategy of the failed government, but what is really suffocating the citizens of Montenegro are new debts,” Stanić pointed out.
He reminds us that yesterday a debt of over 850 million was realized, which will cost us over a billion and 150 million with interest.
“When you are not able to realize a single project, when there are no foreign investments or promised factories, then it is best to “speak the story” of Arab towers and cities on Velika Plaza to the citizens, and at the same time to borrow 2,000 euros per capita. Or 6,000 euros for each employee,” Stanić said.
According to him, it is certain that representatives of the current majority will swear that they were not aware of the deals of Spajić and his cabinet.
"It is already certain that after this government, each of the ministers, MPs and parties of the current majority will "swear" that they knew nothing about the deals of Milojko Spajić and his cabinet," he emphasized.
He says that this time, "they will not be able to cover up previous unfulfilled promises with a new colorful lie like before."
"Citizens are fed up with false billions in promises while you are putting them in debt for real billions that they and their children will repay, and that is why they will get the first answer for all this in the early elections," Stanić concluded.
