Starting today, citizens can check the data from the census

From today until October 7, Montenegrin citizens can use the application to check data on their ethnic and cultural characteristics, which were collected during the census of the population, households and apartments from December 3 to 28 last year.

The Directorate for Statistics (Monstat) published on Monday instructions for using the application for checking ethnic-cultural characteristics collected by the population, household and apartment census.

In the document on the website of the Statistics Authority, it is explained how citizens can control their data.

Monstat director Miroslav Pejović previously said that Monstat will match the data with the register from the Ministry of the Interior and verify them by October 1.

As announced by Monstat, the results of the population census, which was conducted from December 3 to 28 last year, will be published on October 15.

Data on the total number of inhabitants of Montenegro by municipality, gender and age structure, ethnic-cultural features, citizenship will be published then, and in the following days, announcements on other characteristics of the population will be published successively.
