The session of the Assembly was interrupted after a verbal conflict between the head of the club of MPs of the Europe Now Movement, Vasilij Čarapić, and the MP of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Nermin Abdić. Pobjeda was told unofficially that the member of the Democratic People's Party (DNP) Milun Zogović, and then the security, tried to prevent their "boning" and verbal conflict. There was no physical conflict.
Chairperson Zdenka Popović initially took a break, and later it was decided to adjourn the Assembly session.
According to our unofficial information, tomorrow, on the eve of the Prime Minister's hour, a collegium will be held at which the further dynamics of the work will be determined.
During the session, DPS MP Andrija Nikolić assessed that PES is misleading the public about the draft resolution on Srebrenica.
- You get public slaps from the State Department - even before today. Shut up when you get showers near Belgrade, then you don't answer. Then you say that DPS sponsored the genocide in Srebrenica with fuel. How are you not ashamed? Do you read what the Mothers of Srebrenica say? - asked Nikolić.
Čarapić said that communication with all partners when a resolution is passed in the UN is normal and that it is a standard practice.
- You only saw the title from which you quote that they had insight into our amendments. It is a standard practice that is carried out every time, and you are trying to make a spin out of it and call us liars, shame on you - said Čarapić.
Abdić responded by telling Čarapić to watch his behavior, and Popović then took a break.
Previously, Čarapić said that the DPS stood behind all the wrongdoings that their officials did and that they did not deny anyone.
- You stand behind all the wrongdoings that your party has done to these citizens. These wrongdoings refer to both theft and police repression of citizens and the media. You don't have the right to transfer any matter to us - we don't lie - said Čarapić and added that the DPS divided the people for 30 years, because they didn't have a program to offer the citizens.
Nikolić told Čarapić to pay attention to how he addresses the DPS MPs.
- You will take serious account, so that we don't talk differently - said Nikolić, to which the vice-president of the Assembly reacted and said that someone could understand that statement as a threat.
DPS MP Aleksandra Vuković Kuč said at the beginning of today's session that PES MP Jelena Nedović should apologize to the citizens of Montenegro, the USA and the mothers of Srebrenica for the statement on the amendments to the UN resolution on Srebrenica and that the USA is mediating in them. .
- They ruined the international dignity of Montenegro. A denial has just been published by the US and this is another diplomatic slap in the face. I think they need to urgently apologize because the mothers of Srebrenica thanked them because Prime Minister Spajić said he would vote for the Resolution on Srebrenica - said Vuković Kuč.
