We believe that the current dismissal, which was delivered by mail to our colleague Nevenka Macan, is an ill-intentioned and unprofessional act of the current management of RTCG, says the Trade Union of the Public Broadcasting Service of Radio and Television of Montenegro.
"We emphasize that Nevenka Macan spent her working life, and therefore her entire life, at RTCG. She has been awarded many times for her work and professional attitude towards her profession, which resulted in her dismissal on the verge of retirement.
On this occasion, we have also addressed the Public Service Council, requesting that this decision be annulled and that colleague Macan be sent off to retirement when the time comes, as she deserves and deserves," they state in a statement.
By making this decision ad-acta, the RTCG management will, as they add, show that it respects Nevenka Macan and the profession of a journalist.
"Otherwise, our Trade Union will do everything to protect the interests of our colleague and member Nevenka Macan, and therefore our oppressed profession," they conclude in the statement.
