Vuković Kuč: Mandic will definitely be replaced, we'll see when

AUTHOR: M.J.

The President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić will definitely be removed from that position, said the deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Aleksandra Vuković Kuč, stating that it remains to be seen whether it will happen next week or in the following weeks.

Vuković Kuč told the MINA agency that the Europe Now Movement (PES), with its proposal to remove the initiative for the dismissal of Mandić from the agenda of tomorrow's Assembly session, shows its weak and wavering policy.

She pointed out that Mandić, even if he wants to, cannot escape from the discussion, because that item will be part of the agenda of the next session when the opposition nominates it as its item, because the passage of the opposition's proposal is guaranteed by the Rules of Procedure.

Vuković Kuč said that the initiative for Mandić's dismissal determines important political positions.

It does not question the parliamentary majority, nor does the opposition try to return to power, it is not a question of classifying those who make up the Government and those who are outside it - explained Vuković Kuč.

According to her, it is an ideological and value orientation.

The choice between nationalism in the form of a "fantastic Serbian world", a policy that leads a war in Ukraine or keeps oppositionists in prison until death (the case of Navalny) and a civil and progressive ideology that is fundamentally oriented towards the West and its values - she stated.

He points out that it is a situation in which a choice is made between managing the state from the political practice of democracy or managing society from a "nationalist and chauvinist corner which, due to its fatal effect, quickly engulfs the entire system and becomes an institutionalized evil".

Mandic will definitely be replaced. We will see if it will be next week or the next week - said Vuković Kuč.

She assessed that Montenegro cannot have a "person who is a foreigner" at the head of the most important institution, stating that she is not saying this because Mandic is a Serb, but because he has illegally obtained citizenship of a foreign country.

He belittles the state and in various ways tries to humiliate it, trip it up, stop it from progressing towards its strategic goal - the European Union (EU), added Vuković Kuč.

As she said, everyone can see that, because Mandić does not hide that his home country is Serbia. Vuković Kuč pointed out that the executors of all Mandić's goals, which he cannot achieve in the "suit of a silent conciliator", are the presidents of the municipalities of Pljevlja and Nikšić, Dario Vraneš and Marko Kovačević, and similar "suspicious persons of the ruling class".

She emphasized that anyone who does not vote for Mandić's removal, and declaratively stands up for Europe, is an opportunist for whom the narrative of Montenegro in Europe serves to achieve personal and party interests.

That initiative will be a litmus test - who is for European Montenegro, and who is for the one that (Milorad) Dodik announced to us and that he and Mandić wish for - said Vuković Kuč.

She said that Mandić's position as President of the Assembly is illegal, because he does not have legal Montenegrin citizenship, so his appointment to that position is a criminal offense.

Vuković Kuč said that it is "political terrorism" and that all those who amined him will have to answer.

This ruling majority is held together by cheap compromises, blackmails that concern only the satisfaction of personal, family, godfather position - assessed Vuković Kuč and added that no one should say that Mandić has no right to be in the position of President of the Assembly, because he does not satisfy even the formal a requirement for that function.

She stressed that the DPS will use everything politically to show that Mandic, whom Prime Minister Milojko Spajić perceives as the Dalai Lama because he depends on him and his party, is working against the interests of Montenegro.

Vuković Kuč thinks that everyone sees it, but they have to keep quiet, because they are being blackmailed.

We are of the opinion that such a person cannot be at the head of the highest legislative institution, because that position allows him to do damage to Montenegro from an official position, and then the scale of that damage is great - said Vuković Kuč.

As she said, Mandić is held in office by untalented politicians, with little education and visible limitations, so they are ready to bring even the most trivial personality to the Montenegrin political scene in order to stay in power.

Vuković Kuč, speaking about the parliamentary majority, said that it is clear what will be its fate when it is known how it was formed.

"It is obvious that from the beginning there were no common principles, plans or vision, but it was about dividing the spoils," added Vuković Kuč.

As she said, the security sector is now stuck, since PES and the Democrats are "playing a game of who will deceive whom in the end".

"During that time, we currently have a situation where children in a school in Herceg Novi do not have classes for a month due to reports of bombs, and the new dictators decided to burn Andrej Nikolaidis's doll at the carnival and express their hatred for the Montenegrin language and literature created on him", said Vuković Kuč.

She stated that a tunnel was dug in the High Court, and that cigarette smuggling took place in the presence of the then Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior.

All of these are the consequences of the fact that Montenegro has been a non-functional state for security for three years and that the sector is being used to deal with criminals, and not for the protection of citizens and their property - said Vuković Kuč, adding that this is why the parties are waging a war over taking that sector "under own".

She believes that the 44th Government will have the same fate as the previous two and that its fall is certain.

The parliamentary majority is not gathered on the basis of mutual concessions useful for the state, but on the basis of mutual blackmail, and such a situation is now having bad consequences - said Vuković Kuč.

She stated that Montenegro has a chance to return to the path from which it was diverted three years ago, but that this is not the goal of the current parliamentary majority, or at least not of all its constituents.

Spajić behaves as if he is managing a small company, not the state, only that he is heavily in debt to that company, in order not to pay off the salaries that brought him and which keep him in power, and which are part of his economic populism and pre-election manner - stated Vuković Kuch.

As she said, while Mandić, Kovačević, Vraneš and Božović are working on the identity "dismemberment" of the state, "the creators of the unknown program Europe now 2 are creating an economic black hole from which the state can hardly get out of".

He emphasizes that Montenegro urgently needs a serious government, because the current situation resembles a show, not the management of a serious system.

DPS and its partners will soon return to decision-making positions, because it is clear to everyone that without our civil policy there is no stability and European positioning of Montenegro - said Vuković Kuč.

According to her, all researches indicate that the citizens are clear about which politicians they put their trust in and that is why the support for DPS is stronger.

In that party, as she said, they are reexamining themselves, eliminating shortcomings and taking criticism into account.

We are ready to change and to change the political culture for the better. We must admit that nowhere is the absence of better felt as in politics. We need people who are better than us and better than everyone in order to revive society - pointed out Vuković Kuč.

She said that is why she will introduce work discipline in DPS as the most important feature of party and political work and open her circle.

I would not mind joining our ranks and the personalities who criticized us the most, if their criticism contained the germ of our self-knowledge - added Vuković Kuč.

Asked if the DPS will support the interpellation on the work of the Minister of Justice Andrej Milović, she replied that they should see it first before deciding whether to sign it, adding that the interpellation of the Civil Movement URA has not yet reached the DPS club.

Vuković Kuč pointed out that Spajić has an obligation to inform the public about the reasons why Milović was excluded from the PES, as well as to announce whether she will initiate the procedure for Milović's dismissal from the position of Minister of Justice.

As she said, the confrontation between Milović and the URA is taking too long and they should be left to bring it to an end.

She pointed out that the DPS does not have time to deal with that, because, as she stated, they are preparing local leadership elections, as well as a plan for the economic revival of Montenegro, which is sinking into the abyss of uncontrolled borrowing.
