President of the Croatian Civic Initiative Adrijan Vuksanović, as a member of the delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro, attended the funeral of Pope Francis today in the Vatican.
After finishing St. during the funeral Mass, he stated that the Holy Father is a gift not only to the Catholic Church but also to the whole world.
"With his tireless and unwavering advocacy for peace, he gained the love of many, and with his special emotion for people from the social margins, he showed the greatness of his character. I am honored and happy that I had the opportunity to be in the Vatican today at the prayer farewell of the Holy Father. I carry the experience I had here as a permanent inspiration and incentive to follow the universal principles and values promoted by Pope Francis," said Vuksanović.
On the Square of St. Peter today, around 250,000 believers and admirers of the image and work of the 266th head of the Catholic Church gathered.
