This country still carries with it and remembers well those chains of slavery that were broken long ago - said the former president of the youth of LSCG and Montenegrin intellectual Peđa Vušurović during today's, the third in a row, protest in defense of the rights of the former chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić.

On April 14, Katnić, along with former high-ranking police official Zoran Lazović, was arrested on suspicion of abusing their position by lifting the ban on entry into Montenegro of the then head of a criminal organization from Belgrade, Veljko Belivuk, and his companion Marko Miljković.

He has been on hunger strike for 28 days due to political persecution, and for six days he has refused water because special prosecutor Miloš Šoškić and investigating judge Goran Šćepanović continuously violate his rights guaranteed by law, but also try to thwart his participation in the proceedings and the hearing of witnesses in the investigation. which is being conducted against him.

Activist Ivana Pajović said that with that performance they are telling Novović, Marković, Šoškić and everyone in the prosecution and court chain that they will be responsible for everything that happens if there is a fatal outcome for Katnić. This, he adds, also applies to Minister Andrej Milović.

-.. Who shamefully declares that the hunger strike is Katnić's will and if the worst happens, that he is to blame. Well, we tell him that it is not like that and that we will fight and seek truth and justice wherever necessary. I repeat, according to the judgments of the Strasbourg Court, a death caused by a hunger strike is considered a murder by the state - emphasized Pajović.

- With this kind of sacrifice, Katnić shows and gives a moral lesson to everyone how to keep one's word, respect courage and heroism. There is very little time to save Katnić's life and that is why we are waiting: to see what will happen. We will not be silenced and we will not stop. We just started getting together. We are yet to show what Montenegrins are made of, that they cannot silence us all by giving salaries, appanages and praise for their sons. They could have lost the future for their grandson due to work for their son. With his text, Katnić shows that Montenegrins, when injustice is committed against them, neither can nor will they remain silent. Everything that needs to be proven will be proven: that he is innocent, if only to save his life. All of us gathered are saying: we are following closely and we will not stop - emphasized Pajović.

MORAL GUARANTEE
Vušurović said at the protest that every signature on the appeal, every raised Montenegrin voice, every appeal of the free world and every person present in front of the SDT - "is a moral guarantee that Milivoje Katnić will not go anywhere and that he is ready to face charges according to the laws of his homeland".

He said that Katnić was guilty of preventing "the continuation of the bombing affair and postponing the collapse of the Montenegrin state by four years" in 2016.

He also added that Katnić is guilty of "deliberately missing the time when his epic codex no longer resides".

But the cuckoo's mother doesn't cry... That's why Milivoje Šaletin Katnić is also under Velji Brdo - a mountain for them! Milivoje Katnić is neither ideal nor sinless, today, with this attitude and demeanor, inherited, given by origin and birth, only possible and unique to him - a free prisoner enslaved freedom - said Vušurović.

He added that Katnić is on the brink of strength.

- Let him go from here, so that he can once again be only, only and only a citizen of Milivoje Katnić, under the charge that your press made up for him a long time ago and ordered to you, so in your courtroom, whatever he brings! Actions, gentlemen, not words! Over the table and judgment, not bars and condemnation! Katnić, even at the edge of his strength and at his last breath, showed and continues to show that he has enough, now it's up to you! The clock is ticking, and the clock is ticking... THE BATTLE FOR THE DESCENDANTS
The daughter-in-law of the former chief special prosecutor - Biljana Katnić - joined the protest. She addressed the audience, announcing that today she and her daughter share a birthday, and that their only wish is for Katnić to be released.

Today is my 55th birthday, and exactly before the 31st year, I received the most beautiful gift - a Montenegrin cherry. Two birthdays today. Today, both she and I, and all of us, have only one wish - a wish above all wishes: that my brother-in-law be released alive, albeit with impaired health. I want Milivoje to hug their Daria again, and God forbid another princess in August. I want us to gather again in our oasis of peace, in our Barjamovica, on the hearth that Saleta and Ikonija left us - said Biljana Katnić.

She said that their friends and godfathers have shown all these days that they are sincere friends of their family.

- The day before yesterday, a song by professor Sreten Vujović touched my heart. And today I'll do it like this: Hey bastard, the saber is sharp and this is our battle. A battle for you, for all of us, yours and ours, for our descendants. I pray tomorrow to Saint Vasilij Ostroška to fulfill our greatest wish, above all wishes. This is from my soul and my heart - said Biljana Katnić.

WHAT IS NOVOVIĆ HOLDING BORIS SAVIĆ IN HIS HAND?

Pajović-Musić said that Milivoje Katnić is not just a first and last name - but a symbol of the injustice that follows us, a symbol of resistance and defiance to the evil intentions of dishonor and betrayal.

According to her, the fact that on one side we have Katnić and Čađenović who are imprisoned without charges and evidence, while on the other hand we have a situation where people who were accused of attempting to kill them have been released to defend themselves, tells how our judiciary functions.

- Today we ask the prosecutor Novović what he is holding the President of the High Court Boris Savić in his hand? Is it because of what was in the depot of the High Court, which is being hidden from the public, why the tunnel was dug, and there are no culprits? Why did prosecutor Novović hide the fact that High Court judge Goran Šćepanović is under financial investigation by the Judicial Council, so he should be exempted from all cases - she emphasized.

The question arises, as Pajović-Musić added, whether this is because he would send people to detention on his orders.

Bearing in mind that on the part of the prosecutor Šoškić (who is known as an "illegality expert") there was animosity towards Katnić because he was against his election to the position of special prosecutor, we ask the question: how exactly did that group of people find themselves in the judicial chain that they accuse him, imprison him and try him without a verdict - Pajović Musicić asked.

She thanked the Montenegrin Helsinki Committee (CHO), the Faculty of Montenegrin Language and Literature (FCJK), the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMi) as well as the Montenegrin media: Pobjeda, Antena M, Portal Analitika, Standard, M portal, CDM, Television E, Television 777, and other media that correctly reported the protests.

- Today, in addition to numerous addresses from the diaspora, the Slovenian and Croatian PEN Center also joined the appeal to allow him to defend himself from freedom, she said.

LOUD AND SHAMEFUL SILENCE OF BJEKOVIĆ AND NGOs
She pointed out that, however, she cannot thank the ombudsman Sinisa Bjeković, nor the NGO organizations that deal with the protection of human rights for this, as she said, loud and shameful silence.

- We regret that we cannot thank the ombudsman, as well as the NGO organizations that deal with the protection of human rights, by which they joined the conspiracy group to be complicit in this historic judicial injustice by their silence - said Pajović Music.

The crowd supported Pajović's message with whistles.

He reminds that today is the 28th day since Katnić went on a hunger strike, and that it is already six days since he went on a thirst strike.

We also call out our fellow prosecutors and judges, who have forgotten about professionalism and justice, because they are afraid for their seats, lest they be next on Novović's list - added the civic activist.

She said that revenge for the coup becomes a weapon in the hands of prosecutors and judges on the previously well-prepared ground of the media chase and lynching of Milivoj Katnić.

- Did you think that the people would be silent about this kind of injustice, and about this kind of shameful treatment, which deprives Mr. Katnić and Mr. Čađenović of the rights that are available to every other detainee? To those who do not understand us, we ask if you can imagine your children behind bars for 17 months without evidence or indictment? Or his father, who defends his dignity and basic human rights with a hunger and thirst strike - asked Pajović Music.

ONE FOR MANDIĆ AND KNEŽEVIĆ AND THE OTHER FOR KATNIĆ
She believes that justifications like "who knows what they did" and "leave them there" are not accepted and will never be, because, as she added, everyone is innocent until proven otherwise.

- Everyone should have the same rights, but they don't have them! In the 2016 coup d'état, the then VDT Stanković issued a binding instruction that the Chetnik duke Mandić and Knežević be defended from freedom. And in this case, the possibility of applying the same rights to Mr. Milivoj Katnić and Saša Čađenović is excluded - she noted.

EMERGENCIES WITH NO ANSWER
She reminded that CEMI sent three urgent requests for the approval of the visit to Katnic and that they have not yet received an answer.

- While, on the other hand, on the same day, Duško Knežević was granted a visit from the delivered Pope of the Church of Serbia. It clearly tells us what kind of message you are sending and what your intentions are. That's why we're here again today and we'll be there wherever injustice strikes fear, but who can. We can't! Not now, not ever. That Montenegro is eternal! - said Pajović Music.

"Prosecution = Inquisition"

The gathered citizens ask why Katnić does not have the same rights as others, but also say that living with him is an unforgivable crime.
