Young liberals from Nikšić together with candidates of the Liberal Party (LP) for deputies in the parliamentary elections on June 11, Vatroslav Belan and Ammar Borančić, traditionally brought and renewed the Montenegrin national flag on top of Budoš above Nikšić.
The liberals from Nikšić, who set up a mast with a flag on top of Budoš together with the president of OO LP, Jelena Marković, fly the national flag at this location every year on the eve of Independence Day on May 21 and symbolically mark Montenegro's Independence Day - LP said.
This symbol on the highest point of Budoš was also placed in honor of the Montenegrin patriots from the Pešiva region, who gave their lives for the true honor and freedom of Montenegro, and this mountain was especially known for their struggles.
In this way, honor is paid and memories of the freedom tradition of the city of Nikšić are preserved - they said in the announcement.
