Zirojević to PES: Instead of being ashamed of the treatment of a woman and her child, you threaten judges

The PES statement in which, dissatisfied with the verdict, they call for reforms (read: removal of unsuitable people) in the courts is scandalous, said SD MP and representative of the European Union Nikola Zirojević.

Zirojević addressed PES, stating that, as he says, it will turn out in the end that you made all that circus, the spectacular arrest, bringing ninjas and spidermen who rushed into the ASK armed to the teeth to arrest one woman, in order to score a cheap political point at a given moment.

"And instead of being ashamed of such treatment of a woman and her minor child, you ignorant people give yourselves the right to pass judgment in public, contrary to the court's decisions, which are the only valid and legitimate ones," he said.

The representative of the European Union called on the Minister of Justice and the President of the Basic Court in Podgorica to speak out and condemn the threats to judges who independently perform their work and, as he stated, attempts to inappropriately influence the judicial branch of government, which should be independent.

"And such judgments, as things have started, will only continue to happen," Zirojević said at the end of the statement.
