After the deputy of the Movement Europe Now (PES) Vasilije Čarapić supported the initiative of the Serbian National Council of Montenegro to remove the memorial to Duke Mirko Petrović from the Independence Square in Podgorica, the member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Andrija Klikovac reacted on the social network X.
In a statement to Borba portal, Čarapić said that he would also support donating the memorial to the Capital of Cetinje.
- I think it is an appropriate gesture since Duke Mirko is known as the Duke of Grahov, originally from Njeguš - said Čarapić.
He said that with this gesture both Kuči and Cetinje would be respected.
- Your wish will be Čarapic! But at least you show your true face. You want to cause divisions and riots in Podgorica - said Klikovac to the X network.
