FLIGHT FROM HELL PART 2 - FROM LUFTHANSA TO UNITED AIRLINES TERROR NEVER END

AUTHOR: M.JAHOVIĆ GDNUS

After more than 24 hours of arriving on a flight from hell – Lufthansa of course, from Belgrade to Washington, although it was supposed to go directly to Chicago, I thought I would finally get home quickly. But I was wrong, the American airline United Airlines made sure that the terror and hell of the passengers on that flight continued. And the first shock for us was the fact that that evening, although planned, there would still be no flight from Washington to Chicago due to snow and ice. Immediately followed by another until the morning, dear passengers, find your own way where you will spend the night, the company will not even provide you with a taxi to the hotel that you will pay for yourself. Professionally, even in the middle of the night. This move certainly confirms the decades-old fact that United Airlines is one of the worst airlines in the world.

Finally, the time has come to leave Washington for Chicago. However, another delay, a hydraulic failure, and the flight is delayed by about two hours. Snow and ice are constantly mentioned, and one of the cabin crew informs passengers over the loudspeaker about the details and the planned takeoff of the plane on flight UA 1738. Needless to say, the passengers were nervous, as was the fact that this time we were not even offered water, let alone anything else. And finally, at about 10 a.m. local time, we took off. We arrived in Chicago. And there was just as much snow and ice as in Frankfurt - not a little at all. Who knows, maybe it was some snow and ice that only United Airlines and Lufthansa planes can detect around an ordinary person, and who are we to believe our eyes and not those companies.

But I got home, but my suitcases didn't. They probably stayed in Washington. They protested, they won't get on the plane, probably because of the snow and ice, which I can't see, but it's definitely there, there's no doubt as long as Lufthansa and United Airlines say so. Or maybe the suitcases decided to stay in Washington and attend the spectacle - Trump's inauguration. Maybe they even got invitations for that event, but United Airlines certainly provided them with invitations, so after the swearing-in ceremony my suitcases will definitely reach Chicago. By the way, I didn't get any information about them because no one answers the United Airlines phones. Maybe it's because of the invisible snow and ice, which I can't see, but it's definitely there.

Oh, and if you don't have enough! Never again with Lufthansa and United Airlines!
