The first details of the largest defense package in history have been released. The armed deliveries and services cover five main categories:
- Improving air power and space capabilities
- Air and missile defense
- Maritime and coastal security
- Border security and modernization of land forces
- Upgrading information and communications systems
The package also includes extensive training and technical support to strengthen the capabilities of the Saudi armed forces.
As stated, the package also includes "the modernization of Saudi military academies, as well as the strengthening of military medical capacities," with long-term American logistical and instructor assistance.
