During a service to pay respects to victims of a collapsed canopy, on Ruzveltova Street in Belgrade, a girl was injured when the driver of the car hit her and carried her on the roof, after which she fell onto the street.
Footage N1 shows the student standing on the sidewalk in front of the traffic light at the intersection of Ruzveltova and Ulica Kraljice Marije, when the driver of a Ford car driving on the sidewalk hit her and continued driving. After a few seconds, the girl fell from the roof of the car onto the sidewalk.
Police officers from the Belgrade City Police Department identified and found the driver M. P. (38), according to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of the Interior.
The suspect is charged with the criminal offense of Aggravated Murder in Attempt.
He was detained for up to 48 hours, during which time he will be questioned at the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade.
Let us remind you that the girl was injured and taken to the Emergency Center.
