The Israeli Air Force (IDF) hit more than 50 targets in the Gaza Strip overnight and today, including cells and buildings used by Hamas to plan and carry out attacks, Israeli media reported, citing the IDF, while the Palestinian side claims that at least 19 people were killed in these attacks.
At the same time, the IDF said that ground forces targeted a Hamas command center, weapons depots and sniper positions, and that Hamas authorities reported 19 dead and dozens wounded in the previous 24 hours, the Times of Israel reported.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that, according to medical sources, at least 19 Palestinians were killed and 81 injured in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours "as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the region".
Local health authorities confirmed that the number of Palestinian casualties due to the Israeli attack since October 2023 has reached 52,829 killed and at least 119,554 wounded, most of them women and children.
According to the same sources, since Israel resumed attacks on March 18 after a two-month ceasefire, 2,720 Palestinians have been killed and 7,513 wounded.
