Water Supply Gradually Returning in Bijelo Polje, Full Restoration Expected Tomorrow

After several days of disruption, water has started returning to parts of Bijelo Polje, bringing relief to residents who have faced major shortages this week. Local authorities confirmed that repair crews have been working around the clock to restore the full water supply, which is expected to be completely operational by tomorrow.

According to officials, the outage was caused by a technical malfunction in the main water system, affecting large areas of the town. Emergency measures were quickly implemented, including the distribution of water through tanker trucks to the most affected neighborhoods.

Residents in certain areas have already reported improved water flow, though pressure remains low in some higher parts of the municipality. Teams continue monitoring the system and adjusting valves to balance the network as the restoration process continues.

Municipal representatives thanked citizens for their patience and cooperation during the disruption, emphasizing that the focus remains on ensuring stable and safe water service for all households.

Authorities also advised residents to let the water run briefly before use once the supply is fully restored, as temporary discoloration may occur due to the reactivation of pipelines.

Full water supply across Bijelo Polje is expected to be reinstated by tomorrow afternoon if conditions remain stable.
