Netflix star found dead

South Korean actress Kim Saeron (24) was found dead in her home today. The news was announced by the police. According to reports, emergency crews were sent to her home after a friend went to her house and discovered her lifeless body.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry, but an investigation is underway to determine the cause of her death, local media reported. The news shocked the South Korean entertainment industry, and colleagues, friends and fans expressed deep sadness and condolences, b92 reports.

Kim was one of the most promising actresses in South Korea, but her career collapsed after a drunk driving incident in 2022. Kim Saeron was born on July 31, 2000, and began acting at the age of nine, in the film "Brand New Day", which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and won her several acting awards.

As Kim entered her teens, she starred in the film "The Girl at My Door", which premiered at Cannes in 2014. She continued to receive roles in films and television until the early 2020s. However, in May 2022, her career came to a halt after she was arrested for a traffic accident she caused, which knocked out electricity in the Gangnam district of Seoul.

She later faced financial difficulties, which led her to take on part-time jobs to make ends meet. She planned to return to the stage in a stage play in May 2024, but had to cancel due to health issues.

Her last role was in the Netflix series "Bloodhounds", which aired in 2023.
