The university professor, sociologist and writer Radoslav Ratko Božović died in Belgrade in 90 years.
Božović was born in 1934 in Banja Luka. He finished Gymnasisia in Nikšić, and the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade in 1959. He received his master's degree in 1967, and received his doctorate in 1971. Raw Specialization: Theory and Sociology of Culture, Sociology of Free Time and Sociology of Art.
He held lectures and on a regular and postgraduate studies. He was the head of the direction "Sociology of Culture and Cultural Politics" in the postgraduate studies of the Faculty of Political Science, where he held lectures from the subject theory and sociology of culture, cultural policy and phenomena of the modern world.
He was a professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (for the subject: Sociology in Belgrade in the direction of the Sociology of Language and Language Studies) and on the postgraduate studies of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade (for the subject: the culture of urban time). He taught the theory of culture and sociology of mass communication at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Podgorica. He taught at the Faculty of Visual Arts in Podgorica the theory of culture and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Montenegro in Nikšić.
He was the Yugoslav correspondent of the French magazine for the World Politics "Democratie Nouvelle" (Nova Democracy) and the editor "Culture and Society" (IP "Vuk Karadžić", Belgrade) and the libraries "Point" (IP "Unirex", Nikšić). Study stayed in Paris 1972 - 1973, and in New York in 1986, 1992, 2006.
He is the author of about 300 scientific papers, 150 professional papers and dozens of books. The most important works: "Free time culture", "Metarmophose games", "Temptation of Free Time", "Deads of Game", "Labyrinth culture", "Powered by the issue", "through red", " KULA - URA "," Nightmare "," Report from the madhouse "," Lexicon of Culturology "," Silence or nothing "," Paradoxes Media Freedom "," Osame "," Geometry Opinions ".
In October 2023, he published a book entitled "Secret Dialogue".
Božović is a winner of several awards, "George Fisher" in 2012, for the contribution of humor and satire, "Radoje Domanovic" in 2016 for theoretical approach to sati, "Typrus", for life for humor and satire, Lifestyle Man 2013, Family of Bistrih Stream 2017. Award for the study "Paradoxes Media Freedom" journal Dialogos, as the best work in the region from the theory of the media. In 2015, he won the title of Knight's call that assigns the League of Experts (Lex.org.rs) 2021.
