The Assembly of Kosovo has not been constituted in 24 attempts.
In the continuation of the session, 53 out of 99 MPs present voted to form an electoral commission on Friday.
As in the previous unsuccessful continuations of the session, the former opposition parties PDK, LDK, Serbian List and ABK did not participate in the vote.
The next, 25th attempt to constitute the Assembly is scheduled for Monday, June 2, based on the results of the elections held on February 9.
As far as is known, the unofficial record for the duration of the inability to form a ruling majority is held by the Parliament of Belgium with 652 days - from December 2018 to October 2020.
