Members of the DPS, SDP and SD will file a complaint with the Administrative Court for violating the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Capital City

The members of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Social Democrats (SD) will file a complaint with the Administrative Court for violating the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Capital City, the DPS announced.
The ruling majority failed to provide the necessary quorum for the work of today's session of the Capital City Assembly, which was scheduled to discuss about thirty very important issues for the citizens of Podgorica. It is obvious that the disastrous political relations between the constituents of the coalition can no longer be hidden - they said in the announcement.
As they said, this is evidenced by the fact that, for today's session, not a single member of the council announced his/her absence.
Therefore, there were no "objective" reasons for the impossibility of securing a quorum. Since the ruling majority continued to work even though the agenda was not previously adopted (because a majority vote was not required for that), the councilor clubs DPS, SDP and SD will file a complaint with the Administrative Court for a gross violation of the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly of the Capital City - they add.
Without a vote on the agenda as a whole, as they pointed out, the Assembly could not start work, and therefore could not make decisions.
All decisions adopted by the Assembly without a quorum and contrary to regulations are illegal. The application of illegally adopted decisions will cause incalculable legal consequences and possible numerous lawsuits, which will be paid from the budget of the Capital City. The inability of the new administration of the Capital City to provide a majority of councilors will obviously be paid by the citizens of Podgorica again - they concluded.
