The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, met today with representatives of the Croatian community in Montenegro.
The President of the Croatian National Council of Montenegro, Zvonimir Deković, the President of the Croatian Civic Initiative, Adrijan Vuksanović, as well as the presidents of Croatian associations in Boka Kotor, attended the meeting at the Josip Marković House of Culture in Donja Lastva.
"President Zoran Milanović was interested in political and social conditions, as well as the position of Croats in Montenegro. The president emphasized that Croatia will continue to provide support to the Croatian community in Montenegro, especially in connection with the preservation of their rights and cultural heritage," it was announced from HGI.
HGI President Adrijan Vuksanović, after the meeting, "expressed his satisfaction with the comprehensive, fundamental and institutional support of the Republic of Croatia to Croats in Montenegro." He thanked President Milanović for that, as it was announced, just as he called on members of the Croatian national community to vote for the Croatian citizens' initiative a year ago, before the parliamentary elections.
"It makes me proud and happy that the support of HGI comes from both the left and the right of the political spectrum of the Republic of Croatia.
