Rakočević to NATO partners: Montenegro needs elections and a pro-Western majority

AUTHOR: M.J.
After the destruction of good-neighborly relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina, during the visit of the Russian agent Dodik to the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić, now the extreme part of the government is openly announcing a change in the state policy towards Kosovo, through the announced vote of the representatives of the government against Kosovo's entry into the Council of Europe, announced a member of the Montenegrin delegation and MP Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Rakočević.
As he stated, at the moment when the delegation of the Parliament of Montenegro to the NATO PS in Tallinn is giving strong support to Ukraine in defense of its country and the freedom of the Ukrainian people, the representatives of the authorities in Montenegro are sending dangerous messages of the country's deviation from the Euro-Atlantic course.
Rakočević announced in the talks in Tallinn that the latest moves by the pro-Russian parties in power in Montenegro most clearly explain why the latest survey of the NATO alliance showed a large drop in trust in the alliance among the citizens of Montenegro.
In order for the country to strengthen its credibility in the NATO alliance, and thus continue its path towards membership in the European Union, it is necessary to organize extraordinary parliamentary elections as soon as possible and after them to form an undisputed pro-Western government - concluded Rakočević.
On the sidelines of the NATO Security Council, Rakočević met with US congressmen, deputies from Albania, the Netherlands, Lithuania and members of other delegations.
