Last night at 7 pm local time, a fire broke out in Rockford at the address 2912 Halsted RD. As we were told, there were four people in the apartment at the time of the fire. The quick reaction of the firefighters, who arrived on the scene within 2 minutes, avoided tragedy and major material damage. Fortunately, there were no injuries. The fire was caused by an electrical cable, said the city inspector. More details will be known during the ongoing investigation. The fire engulfed a three-room apartment, which was completely destroyed. Let us also add that the fire department, led by Tovoor Hogan, and members of the 9th police station in Rockford, completely extinguished the fire in half an hour.
