Thousands of citizens in Rockford gathered for a massive protest against U.S. President Donald Trump, his associate Elon Musk, and their policies. The protesters carried signs with slogans criticizing Trump's foreign policy and economic measures. Many expressed frustration, stating that Trump and his administration are pushing U.S. citizens into poverty, with skyrocketing prices making it difficult for people to afford even basic necessities.
For several hours, protesters blocked the main roads of Rockford, causing a complete traffic standstill for two hours. Afterward, the crowd gathered in a park in the city center before marching toward Chicago to join the massive protests there, where tens of thousands of citizens were protesting against Trump's economic policies and administration.
