Brady became a minority shareholder of the Las Vegas Raiders

AUTHOR: M.J. GDNUS

Tom Brady, the legend of American football, has officially become a minority shareholder of the Las Vegas Raiders, one of the franchises of American football (NFL).

Brady (47) has five percent of the shares, it was announced after a meeting of other shareholders in Atlanta.

The principle of the former quarterback of the New England Patriots entering the capital of the Raiders was discussed for a year and a half, and the discussions related to the exact percentage of his shares, but also to a possible conflict of interest related to his position as a commentator on the American television channel Fox Sports.

The NFL has already issued restrictions on Tom Brady's media interventions, such as avoiding criticizing opposing teams and referees.

Winner of seven Super Bowls in a 23-year career, Brady is a big star in the US.

The Raiders franchise, historically based in California (in Oakland and Los Angeles), moved in 2020 to Las Vegas.
