Five people have been prosecuted for the disorder that occurred on April 2nd, before and after the Budućnost - Dečić match in Tuzi, according to a statement from the Police Directorate.
The police reminded that in the evening, after the Budućnost - Dečić match, several individuals used pyrotechnic devices, causing material damage to a hospitality facility.
"Podgorica police identified the participants of the incident and, in coordination with the prosecution, prosecuted five individuals. Three of them were detained for the incident after the match, while criminal charges were filed against two individuals for using pyrotechnics during the match," the statement reads.
Due to suspicion of committing the criminal act of causing general danger, P.B. (20) from Danilovgrad, D.N. (18) from Podgorica, and a minor (16) were arrested, and criminal charges were filed against them with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
"It is suspected that they committed the aforementioned criminal acts by, during their organized movement in a convoy after the match, leaving the vehicle, lighting pyrotechnic devices - flares, and throwing them toward a hospitality facility, causing material damage to the exterior and interior of the facility," the statement notes.
Additionally, criminal charges were filed against N.Lj. (26) and S.P. (23), fans of the Dečić football team, for bringing and using pyrotechnic devices at a sporting event, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of violent behavior at a sporting event or public gathering.
