Montenegro coach Boško Radović is the new coach of the Podgorica Bemax basketball club.
"After the defeat at the start of the NLB ABA 2 league against Džoker, and against Kotor in the premiership of the I A MCKL, an agreement was reached on mutual termination of cooperation with the previous head of the professional staff, Dragan Radović", they say from Podgorica.
By the way, Dragan Radović took over the helm of the team on July 10 last year, after the departure of Nebojša Bogavac, who had previously been the first associate in our club for two seasons and the coordinator of junior selections.
Under the leadership of Dragan Radović, Podgorica won first place last season at the end of the league part I A of the MCKL, where it was stopped by Sutjeska in the play-offs, while under his leadership the team reached the semi-finals of the ABA 2 league, where it was eliminated by Vojvodina.
From Podgorica, they say that the club's leaders have reached an agreement with Boško Radović, who has been the coach of Montenegro since December 20, 2019, and who will have the opportunity to make his debut on the bench of our team in Cetinje against Lovcen on Sunday.
Boško Radović was previously Zvezdan Mitrović's assistant in the national team, he also helped Dusko Vujošević, Dejan Radonjić and Bogdan Tanjević. He was the selector of the junior national team, a member of the professional staff under Jelena Škerović in the women's senior selection of Montenegro.
As the head coach of Montenegro, he led our national team at the European Championship in 2022, and at Mundobasket last year, when Montenegro won 11th place.
