Montenegrin football players were defeated in Nikšić in the fifth round of the Nations League, Iceland celebrated 2:0 and sent the "falcons" to a lower rank.
The goals in the last twenty minutes were decisive - Oscarsson scored in the 74th, and then Johansson in the 89th.
Even before the start of the match, a scandal was orchestrated by the Radio and Television of Montenegro. Namely, viewers in front of the small screens were not able to listen to the complete anthem of Montenegro, "Oj svijetla majska zoro".
The picture without sound while our anthem was being sung lasted, and the sound was turned on without any apology to the viewers right before the end of the intonation of the Montenegrin anthem.

The first head-to-head match in Reykjavik went to Iceland (2:0), who in the previous part of the competition also recorded a draw with Wales (2:2) and losses to Turkey (3:1 in Izmir and 4:2 in Reykjavik).
