The Administration Donald Trump introduced a new sanction associated with Iran, which affects 13 entities based in Hong Kong, China, the United Arab Emirates and the Marshal Islands, as well as eight ships, said the US Department of Finance.
Measures include Greek citizens of Antonios Margaritis and its network of companies and ships, for which the Ministry of Finance claims to participate in the transport of Iranian oil exports, violating existing sanctions.
The list also includes Ares Shipping Limited from Hong Kong, Comford Management from the Marshall Islands and Hong Kong Hangshun Shipping Limited from Hong Kong.
Among the marked crude oil tankers are ships with the Panama flag of Adelina G and Kong, as well as the Lafit under the flag of Sao Tome and Principe.
The State Secretariat announced separately that he introduced sanctions to two Chinese companies that manage oil terminals and warehouses. According to the allegations, they were involved in the import of Iranian oil on tankers who were already a target of American sanctions.
Companies have been identified as Qingdao Port Haiye Dongjiakou Oil Products Co. in Province of Shandong and Yangshan Shengang International Petroleum Storage and Transportation Co. in the province of Jeljiang.
The person who answered the phone in Qingdao Port Haiye Dongjiakou Oil Products Co. said for Reuters that they were not familiar with sanctions and refused to comment.
