The Ukrainian Air Force shot down 359 of 363 drones and six of eight missiles launched by Russia overnight.
The statement said the attack was aimed at the small western town of Starokostyantinov.
The town is home to an important Ukrainian air base, making it a frequent target of Russian air strikes, Reuters reported.
The Ukrainian Air Force said the Russians successfully carried out three direct hits, while eight were hit by missile fragments.
