Thousands of opposition supporters gathered in front of the Georgia parliament in Tbilisi, and that is the second Monday to protest the 26. October, which they consider the non-majority and falsified, and in favor of the ruling party - Georgian .

The protesters waved the flags of Georgia and the European Union, and are looking for new parliamentary elections - this time under international supervision - as well as the investigation due to alleged election irregularities.

Opposition leaders say they will boycott the session of parliament and regularly maintain demonstrations while their requirements do not meet.

Protests have passed under the waking age of the police for breaking in demonstrators, reflecting silent political tensions in Georgia, southavian land and the former Soviet republic, which has 3.7 million inhabitants and is located between Russia and Turkey.

The Central Election Commission announced that the Georgian San the ruling party won about 54 percent of the vote. Its leaders reject the statements of the resistance that the results of the selection are fabricated.

The President of the State of Salome Zurabičvili rejects the official results and believes that Georgia is a victim of Russian pressure in order not to join the European Union.

Zurabičvili, whose constitutional position is most ceremonial, called on the USA and the European Union to support demonstrations.

Officials in Washington and Brussels have requested full research in relation to the elections, and Kremlin claims that he did not interfere.

The Georgia State Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation regarding the elections, but the opposition claims that this investigation could not be independent, because the State Prosecutor has set parliament, under the control of Georgian sleep.

Georgia is a candidate for membership in the European Union, but has been suspended, despite the huge protests, the Law on the Foreign Mixing that is very similar to the Russian law on foreign agents, and its goal is to combat foreign funding for civil society organizations.

The Georgian dream is in power since 2012, and the party founded Bijina Ivanišvili, a secret billionaire who gained wealth in Russia.

The opposition is accusing that it becomes authoritarian and facing Moscow.

Russia in 2008 won in a short war against Georgia, who tried militarily to regain his two, then the defacter of independent regions with the Russian population. After winning the war, Russia recognized the independence of these areas - Abkhazi and South Ossetia - and amplified the military presence in them.
