The President of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, stated that Montenegro also got involved to prevent Interpol from issuing a red notice for him and the President of the National Assembly of RS, Nenad Stevandić.
Dodik announced tonight on the social media platform X that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić informed him that the Interpol Directorate had accepted Serbia's appeal and rejected the request of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for issuing a red notice for him and for the President of the RS Assembly, Nenad Stevandić.
"Thank you to the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for his support and clear and principled communication with Interpol," Dodik wrote.
Appearing on RTRS, Dodik revealed tonight that officials from other countries, including Montenegro, Russia, and Hungary, had also mediated in this matter.
"President Orban, Hungary also got involved in this regard, Russia, Montenegro, and some other countries. We will find out who those were who initiated this and how they approached this, and we will be very grateful to them. Not because they are saving Milorad Dodik or Stevandić, but because they are somehow preserving faith in justice," he added.
