Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke by phone today with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron about the "diplomatic situation" regarding Ukraine ahead of a meeting between the US and Russian presidents scheduled for Friday.
Zelensky also spoke today with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer ahead of a meeting today between British Foreign Secretary David Lamy and US Vice President J.D. Vance in the UK with Ukrainian and European allies to discuss President Donald Trump's efforts for peace in Ukraine, a Downing Street spokesman said.
Earlier today, he said that Ukraine "will not award Russia any awards for what it has done" and that Ukrainians "will not give their country to the occupier."
