A small plane crashed into a terrace of a house in western Germany today, killing two people, police said, AP reports.
The accident occurred in the town of Korschenbroich, near the city of Mönchengladbach, not far from the Dutch border.
The plane hit the terrace of the house, after which a fire broke out. According to the German news agency dpa, police confirmed that two people were killed, one of whom is believed to be the pilot of the plane.
It is still not known whether the second person was in the plane or on the ground.
Officials do not yet have information about the cause of the plane crash.
