MERS organizes the celebration of the Day of Proclamation of Montenegro as an Ecological State

The Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development is organizing the celebration of the Day of Proclamation of Montenegro as an Ecological State on Friday, September 20, 2024, beginning at 5:30 p.m., on Independence Square in Podgorica.

Part of the program will be dedicated to children, in order to encourage their awareness of environmental protection from a young age. Children will be able to enjoy the fun program "Clean Games" with Žarko Žapac, where they will learn about the importance of preserving nature with games and animation using ecological materials. Also, as part of the workshop "Music", in cooperation with the Music Center of Montenegro, children will make musical instruments from recycled materials, perfecting their motor and creative skills.

The National Parks of Montenegro will organize an "Art educational workshop with a ranger", where children will get to know national parks and symbols through drawing and coloring books, and the Environmental Protection Agency will teach children how to safely enjoy the sun through the "Ozi ozone" workshop and how to contribute to the preservation of the ozone layer.

After the children's program, there will be welcoming speeches by the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Development of the North, Damjan Ćulafić, in front of the Directorate for Climate Change, Tamara Brajović, and the Director of the Eco-Fund, Draško Boljević.

Then follows the short film "Do you miss me?".

The finale of the event will be completed by the performance of the KIC pop choir.
