Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić and leader of the New Serbian Democracy said that their officials, Mijo Lekić and Milo Božović, should go to prison if they are guilty.
-Dear citizens, you have the opportunity to hold the future that you gave us in 2020, which today is dominantly carried by the parties of the parliamentary majority, firmly in your hands and to check each of us. We have nothing against you checking Milan Lekić... if it is Mijo Lekić, the culprit should go to prison. You called Milo Božović that I betrayed him. I did not betray anyone, I think that the presumption of innocence that was valid in the case of Milan Knežević and me in the case of the "coup d'état" is also valid in the case of Milo Božović - said Mandić.
He added that anyone involved in drug smuggling should go to prison.
- I have one brother and sister, if they are engaged in drug smuggling, they should go to prison. I don't think that Milo Božović is engaged in drug smuggling, I believe in the presumption of innocence and that the court will determine concrete facts, but don't politically manipulate political facts - said Mandić at today's session of the Assembly.
Mandić said that there is not a single square meter of real estate or business in Serbia.
- Neither I nor my wife have any business, can you understand that we don't. Those in Belgrade who know that I have something should move there right away - said Mandić, answering the question of DPS deputy Andrije Nikolić whether there is real estate on the water in Belgrade.
He said that he has Serbian citizenship.
- I have Serbian citizenship, I don't have a passport, I don't have an identity card, you can't just claim that it's illegal - Mandic said.
Nikolić said that the parliamentary majority headed by Mandić is responsible for blocking 50 million euros in military aid from the EU.
- You talk about spending money, but you stop the flow of money thanks to your policy - said Nikolić.
