This summer, Montenegro, according to one of the most famous influencers Tamara Kalinić, was left without the opportunity to host some of the most influential figures from the world of fashion and entertainment - due to exorbitant prices and complicated flight connections.

In her latest video, Kalinić revealed that she had planned for Montenegro to be this year's destination for the gathering of her numerous influential friends. Among the invitees were the publicist of numerous celebrities, Kate Bailey, as well as Mimi Catrel, a stylist known for working with Ariana Grande and Gigi Hadid.

– I planned to bring many of my friends from abroad to Montenegro this year. You saw that we were in Capri, right? My first plan was to bring all those famous influencers to Montenegro – said Kalinić.

However, as she states, the prices in Montenegro were the deciding factor that made her guests give up on coming.

– These are people with millions of followers and a lot of influence. Still, they told me: “Tamara, we don’t want to go to Montenegro, it’s more expensive than anywhere else in the world.” We tried to find an option, but I couldn’t convince them. Montenegro would be a much more expensive destination than Capri! Also, the flights are too complicated – she pointed out.

If Montenegro is too expensive for such a paying society, and Capri is acceptable, it should be clear to Minister Simonida Kordić and everyone who decides on our tourism what the future of this industry in Montenegro is. In addition, they rightly stated that we are too complicated to come to. Luckily, it turns out, they didn’t have the opportunity to see what we are like for passing through. Because, if they had just once found themselves in the queues on days when we give tourists suffering instead of rest, their followers would never have thought of coming to us.
