Spajić: Tomorrow's session of the Coordination Team for Protection and Rescue will analyze the next steps and guidelines

AUTHOR:M.J. GDNUS

Today, Montenegro was hit by severe fires in several locations, which caused great material damage to our citizens and communities. Unfortunately, our firefighters were also injured - people who every day, selflessly and bravely, stand on the front line of defending life and property. I express my sincere gratitude and deep respect to them for the sacrifice and courage they show, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced on the X network.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our friends from Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia, as well as partners from the European Union and NATO, for the quick and selfless assistance they provide in the spirit of regional cooperation and solidarity, said Spajić and said: "Your support in these moments means a lot to our country and our people".

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Army of Montenegro and all competent services will be on the ground and with our citizens as long as the situation requires it. A session of the Coordination Team for Protection and Rescue will be held tomorrow, at which the next steps will be analyzed and guidelines will be issued for the most efficient resolution of the newly created situation, said Spajić.

I am aware of the severity of the losses that our citizens have suffered. The Government of Montenegro will be with you - we will provide all necessary assistance to repair the consequences and restore what was lost. These challenges are difficult, but together we will overcome them, with faith in the strength and unity of our community, announced Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
