Former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary are among a number of high-profile names who have been subpoenaed by a congressional committee to testify about the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, the BBC reports.
Republican James Comer, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has subpoenaed the Clintons and eight others. The committee is seeking more information about Epstein after President Donald Trump's administration decided not to release additional federal documents about the late billionaire.
The decision has sparked outrage among Trump supporters and some liberals, as many believe the documents contain a list of clients, including well-known men linked to Epstein.
