The White House shared a post of US President Donald Trump who posted an AI-generated photo of himself as the Pope.
A few days ago, when asked by a journalist about who should be the new pope, Trump said that he would like to be the pope himself. Trump smiled and joked when he heard the question, replying: "I would love to be pope. That would be my first choice."
He went on to emphasize that he did not have a favorite, but suggested that Timothy Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, might be a good choice.
"I don't know. I don't have a favorite. But I have to say that we have a cardinal from New York who is very good, so we will see what happens," he stated.
