The Serbian president highlighted the complexity of the situation if sanctions are imposed on Serbia, namely the Serbian Oil Industry, which is owned by the Russian Federation.

At a government session held today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that he will seek a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the sanctions on the Serbian Oil Industry, but only after a meeting with the new American administration.

"I will talk to President Putin, I will beg, I will seek a conversation on the 25th, 27th around St. Sava, that is, after St. John's Day, when I see what my talks with the new American administration have brought, whether we have any chance or no chance to change things before January," said Vučić.

Vučić also spoke about the supply of gas to Serbia, emphasizing that he is counting on Russia, namely Azerbaijan, in that segment as well, emphasizing that Serbia consumes 13.5 to 14.5 million cubic meters of gas.
