Gaza: 20 killed in Israeli strikes, six children injured

At least 20 people were killed, including six children, in two Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian territory's Civil Defense said this morning.

The airstrikes hit the southern and northern parts of the Gaza Strip, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said.

The Israeli military said it had launched an investigation based on Basal's report.
