At least four people were killed in a Russian drone and missile attack on the Ukrainian capital, authorities said.
The head of the Kiev military administration, Timur Tachenko, said the attack took place at dawn in a district in the center of Kiev, Al Jazeera reported.
Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged citizens to stay in shelters, warning of a “ballistic missile threat.”
He said air defenses were in action around the city.
Windows were broken in the Shevchenkivskyi district, including at the entrance to the Lukyanivska metro station, which was closed.
