A man today drove his car onto the sidewalk into citizens who were blocking an intersection in Novi Sad.
He drove his car onto the sidewalk and passed pedestrians, including mothers with small children in strollers.
Citizens stopped in front of him and did not allow him to pass.
He got back into his car, made a phone call and then reversed back onto the sidewalk, again passing pedestrians.
He was driving a black Peugeot car with Novi Sad license plates, Beta reports.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Kornelija Stankovića Street and Rumenačka Street, during a 15-minute silence in memory of the 15 victims of the tragedy in Novi Sad.
