Published in Serbia: They have files of all bishops

SOURCE: ANTENA M-AUTHOR: M.J. GDNUS

"In the second decade of the 21st century, the following were removed from their sees: - Bishop of Raška-Prizren Artemije; - Bishop of Canada Georgije; - Bishop of Western Europe Konstantin: - Bishop of Zvornik-Tuzla Vasilije; Bishop of Mileševo Filaret: - and Bishop of Niš Jovan".

- "No one's guilt has been proven" - claims "Борба за веру", a St. Sava portal, opposed to the current line-up of the Patriarchate of Serbia (SPC).

Instead of them, "Bulović's and Perić's obedient ones were brought in, as a voting machine".

And these are - "Koviljci", newly produced bishops from the brotherhood of the Kovilj monastery near Novi Sad, whose abbot at the time was Porfirije Perić - the "spiritual child" of Irinej Bulović. "'Koviljci', who, wherever they go, destroy the traditional order and order of the Serbian Orthodox Church" — assesses "Борба за веру".

In a comment, the portal disputes the credibility of the claims from the communiqué of the Patriarchate of Serbia about the session of the Bishops' Council that took place a few days ago, as they write: "Perić and his friends: that is, Bulović and Bulović, only Bulović".

The Bishops' Council of the Church of Serbia did not take a position on the current events there, with the explanation: "we must testify that the unity of the Church transcends all earthly divisions; this unity is preserved - not by increased engagement or identification with worldly issues and dilemmas, but by prophetic distance from all earthly 'sotiriologies'".

Comments from “Борбе за веру”:

- “By ‘prophetic distance’ is meant servility to earthly authorities, because they give money and have FILE OF ALL BISHOPS who could end up on the front pages of tabloids tomorrow, if they are disobedient”.

- “The prophets did not distance themselves from current problems, but illuminated them with God and faith. And the bishops of the BG Patriarchate distance themselves, because if they were prophets, they would not bathe in Jacuzzi bathtubs and drive the most expensive cars and drink the best wines and strong drinks and eat what a Serbian orphan cannot even imagine. Many of them are jet set, so any mention of prophecy in that context seems like blasphemy”.

- “Would any of our ‘distant prophets’ go and expose the ‘Belgrade residents on the water’ and ministers who pay 250 thousand euros for their children’s education, while the people have no bread to eat? Of course not.”

“Борба за веру” singles out examples:

- “the unfortunate Bishop Stefan, Ceca’s spiritual father, who was blinded in Moscow so that he would not be a cause for scandal here”

- and “so that his moral scandals would not become public.”

- “unfortunates like the ruiner of Šumadija, Jovan, painted and colored, who films the nationalists in his honor and uploads them to the diocese’s website as the greatest simpleton?”

On the claims of the Patriarchate of Serbia that “two great jubilees will be celebrated with “assembly, as well as scientific gatherings, special academies, conferences, round tables and exhibitions in Belgrade and in dioceses” – 1700 years since the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea and 850 years since the birth of Saint Sava” – the following comment is made:

- “Instead of celebrating the First Ecumenical Council and Saint Sava with true faith and deeds, we will only have food and drink, as always. And the people – none. Just as they now avoid attending the council liturgies, and flee to where there are no bishops”.

On the fact that the Bishops’ Council of the Church of Serbia “established a new decoration – the Order of St. Prince Lazar”:

- “A large number of holders of the Order of St. Sava received it because they donated money, so some have already ended up in prison or are under investigation – the same will happen with the Order of Prince Lazar”.

How does the Patriarchate of Serbia announce its new saints?

- “The unfortunate modernists Amfilohije and Athanasius, to whom troparia are sung and icons painted, should be canonized, and, as far as we have heard, the canonization of the living Bulović is also being prepared”.

- “And perhaps Perić should be canonized now, since his appointees, such as the young Bishop Petar, state as a mandatory condition for salvation the prohibition of criticizing the person in question on any occasion, regardless of what he does or says, and Archpriest Velibor Džomić threatens Perić’s critics with a curse”.

On the topic that, for example, “the date for the celebration of the discovery of the relics of the venerable Jakov Tumanski has been established, which will be commemorated on October 21/8 of each year” – “Борба за веру” interprets this as “blasphemous and sacrilegious”.

- “It serves the Tuman brothers to change his relics every fifteen days - and they get rich”.

- "And that is being celebrated, and profits are expected. It's as if someone wants to build a new, commercial Ostrog."
