Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that air defense forces today repelled an attack by three drones flying towards Moscow.
"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense repelled an attack by three drones flying towards Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the site of the debris of the downed drone," Sobyanin wrote on Telegram.
Rosaviatsia representative Artem Korenyako previously announced that the work of Moscow's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports, and a little later Sheremetyevo airport, was limited.
"Airports are temporarily not accepting or sending flights. Sheremetyevo can still release planes by agreement," Korenyako said from Moscow, according to Russia's Interfax.
