Iranian state television announced that intelligence services have obtained a large amount of sensitive and strategic documents that allegedly belong to Israel, including information on nuclear projects and facilities. It was not specified how the documents were obtained or what they contain.
The claims come amid increased tensions between Iran and Israel, particularly over Iran's nuclear program, which Israel sees as an existential threat.
Iran denies that it is developing nuclear weapons, claiming that its program is exclusively for civilian purposes. However, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has repeatedly announced possible military action.
Since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Iran has not recognized Israel, and the two countries have been waging a shadow war for years, with mutual accusations of espionage, assassinations and sabotage.
Last year, Iran directly attacked Israeli territory in response to alleged Israeli attacks on Iranian targets in Syria and Lebanon.
