Đukanović in Nikšić: Zdravko's apostle did not pass education classes

Milo Đukanović, President of Montenegro and DPS presidential candidate, spoke at the pre-election meeting in Nikšić on Saturday evening.
Commenting on economic topics, Đukanović stated that 120,000 pensioners are discriminated against and forgotten, that doctors and medical workers are not paid the compensation they deserve, and that prices are rising enormously.
Who wouldn't be in favor of a minimum wage of 900 rather than 450 euros if there were healthy sources of income for that. Instead, day after day, they bombard us with news about hundreds of millions of new debt at a double-digit interest rate. At the same time, these great caregivers forgot about pensioners, over 120,000 members of our oldest population. Populists no longer talk about increasing salaries and pensions, but every day we witness an enormous increase in the prices of all foodstuffs and the justification that doctors and medical personnel cannot be paid compensation for on-call and overtime work because there is simply no money - said Đukanović.
Đukanović also revealed what was his motive for asking the citizens for another mandate.
My motive cannot be either positions, nor the privileges that go with it, nor any political ambitions. My only motive for asking the citizens for another mandate is my statesmanship and human obligation to use my experience in politics and what the years bring to help us manage better in these times and in these conditions so that together we can preserve the values and achievements that we have achieved and done everything on fulfilling the obligations from the European agenda so that they could become a full member of the EU already at the end of my next mandate. I simply could not say under the given circumstances that I have had enough of politics and leave Montenegro at these turning points in history - said Đukanović.
The president then referred to the campaign of his opponents. On Andrija Mandić's invitation to a televised duel, Đukanović said he accepted it.
"He wrapped himself in the mantle of Gandhi, thinking that this will help him to reach the presidential office through the collective amnesia of the people in Montenegro, but in fact he mostly counts on the votes of thousands of those who he loaded onto the state budget in a very short time, all criticizing the former government, hoping that people don't see what his staff are doing in Elektroprivreda and Coal Mine. Last night, Mandić invited me from Pljevlja to talk about the past and future of Montenegro on any television. I want to inform him and the Montenegrin public that of course I accept the invitation to discuss all issues that interest our citizens - he added.
He also had a comment about Jakov Milatović's candidacy.
In the race from the party's bench for reserve players, the young Zdravko apostol, whose educational process apparently did not include education classes, joined the race, who, they claim, in his ministry combed through personnel files of employees and marked them with national flags. The one whose government shut down the national airline, which politically branded vaccines against the corona virus, scammed investors from Montenegro..." - said the President of Montenegro.
Đukanović also recalled what the new government brought to Nikšić.
Who could have guessed that the former cultural center of Montenegro, the city that gave Montenegro and Yugoslavia some of the greatest names in culture, literature, art, sports, politics and economy, would become a place where the anti-Montenegrin and anti-European spirit would rule? Could we have to dream that Nikšić's Zahumlja will become a center from which anti-civilizational messages are sent and ideologies that we thought were defeated long ago are promoted. Could we have imagined that in Nikšić, the flagship of Montenegro, it would be impossible to hold the promotion of any book dedicated to Montenegrin culture, history, and the suffering of Montenegrin heroes? Not so long ago, one of my opponents, calling on his war comrades from the 1990s to dig up their weapons, predicted that Nikšić would be the new Cetinje, i.e. that, as when Montenegro defended itself at Cetinje in the 1990s, Greater Serbia would defend itself in Nikšić today. No, I won't, because Nikšić sang no less loudly than Cetinje in 1990, forgive us Dubrovnik. This is a pledge of Nikšić's lordship and honor - said the DPS candidate.
Đukanović said that there will never be Nikšić again, nor was it ever a bastion of anti-Montenegrinism.
The people of Nikšić never loved someone else's house more than their Montenegrin one. They have shown this during the past two and a half years, always and in every place in the fight for a European, civil Montenegro. They were the first to rebel and on Bogetići protested against Zdravkova and Dritan's Government, they were the first to rush to the Belvedere - the president said.
