Đuričković: Vukićević's vote in SE will cause damage to the international reputation of Montenegro

AUTHOR: M.J.
The vote of MP Maja Vukićević (DNP) against Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe can be defended with the thesis that the action of each MP is independent, but it cannot be defended against the fact that such a vote will cause damage to the international reputation and foreign policy of Montenegro, announced Social Democrat official Miloš Đuričković.
First of all, for the reason that the vote of MP Vukićević comes from the position of a party that is a constituent of the parliamentary majority and whose entry into the Government of Montenegro is expected in a relatively short period of time. If we add to that the fact that the Government of Montenegro depends on the ZBCG coalition, then Vukićević's voice is a cause for concern - stated Đuričković.
The upcoming Vukićević vote, along with the previous events at the POSP session as well as the actions of the President of the Assembly, Mandić, send a message that Montenegro is not a reliable partner, Đuričković believes, and believes that Montenegro's foreign policy is no longer aligned with the EU's foreign policy.
The announced reconstruction and deeper entry of the coalition in ZBCG into the Government will also be a formal confirmation that the policy of the 44th Government of Montenegro is not aligned with NATO and EU policy, that is, that there has been a change in Montenegro's foreign policy course - concludes Đuričković.
